Qidong middle school Cambridge Education Centre is engaged in teaching A-level courses and instructing examinations. In Great Britain if students want to continue studying in university, they have to take A-level courses, which last 2 years. The courses are the equivalent of senior-high school courses in China. CIE holds worldwide examinations twice a year, marks are graded as A*、A、B、C、D、E and an unrated U. It is eligible to apply university if the grade is above E. Students who achieve three to five A*s may apply top universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard. The A-level is accepted by more than 160 countries and regions, over 11 000 universities. It is praised as the “Golden standard” of world class university entrance exam and also regarded as the worldwide college entrance exam which is of the most suitable for Chinese candidates.
